What to expect?


This is a holistic program where we work on applying foundational health principles daily for 6 weeks. The focus is on creating positive lifestyles habits that are essential to achieving and maintaining health, fitness and aesthetic goals. You follow a daily checklist to track health habits and log food and workouts with your goal to achieve 80% of available “check marks” by the end of the challenge (you’ll win a t-shirt if you’re successful!).

 

We begin with “prep week” where we have intro classes to get you ready for the challenge. The first night is an intro info session where we meet for a lecture style chat and I go over the 6 daily health habits and 6 principles of good nutrition you’ll be following. We meet another night for the intro fitness session where we go over the fundamentals of exercise, assess everyone’s core and posture and have our first (mini) workout. The final night of prep week is the intro hot yoga session. We meet for a yoga class in the yoga studio and go over yoga etiquette and what to expect. This class is just “warm”, not “hot” as we won’t turn on the infrared heat.

 

We also meet during prep week to take initial measurements (ultrasound bodyfat analysis, weight and circumference). We’ll use the data from your measurements and the results from a health appraisal questionnaire to give you macro nutrition targets and a meal plan to get started. But, the ultimate goal with nutrition is to teach you how to balance your blood sugar, improve your digestion and reduce inflammation so that you can do it all the time, even after the challenge.

 

The first Monday after prep week we start the 6 Weeks. This is when you’ll begin attending your group training classes every Monday Wednesday and Friday. We reserve these classes for you and expect you to attend as these are foundational workouts where we work on strength, stability and cardio as well as work all muscle groups and movement patterns. You’re welcome to attend as many additional classes as you’d like in addition to your 3x per week and we can help you pick classes (yoga, cycle, HIIT, weight lifting) to focus more on your specific goals (like muscle building, fat loss or health) although the group training classes will work on all of these.

 

We check-in weekly to see how you’re doing with your nutrition and lifestyle changes and we’ll hold you accountable to those 3x group training sessions each week. We meet again at the end of the challenge to re-take measurements. We pick one person to win the challenge and a free 6 weeks. You can try to win by submitting a summary of your experience and results. The winner isn’t always the person who loses the most weight. We’ve had winners overcome addiction, depression, low self esteem, severe anxiety, etc. It has been a life changing program for many people who truly put in the effort for self improvement!
